Attorneys

Rubin Law, a professional corporation, LIMITS its law practice to Special Needs Legal and Future Planning for Brian and Benjamin Rubin’s fellow Illinois families of children and adults with special needs, including all required “traditional” Estate Planning and Estate Administration (Will, Trusts, Estate Tax Planning, Trust Administration, Probate and related matters).

Founded in 1989 by attorneys Richard and Nancy Spain and Theresa Varnet, the Chicago firm of Spain, Spain & Varnet P.C. concentrates its practice in issues unique to families with members who are disabled or elderly, specializing in special needs trusts, OBRA ’93 trusts, Medicaid & Medicare issues, SSI, Guardianship and Elder Law, as well as general estate planning, real estate, probate court matters and corporate law.

Attorney Robert H. Farley, Jr. has provided legal representation to individuals with disabilities and their families for over twenty years in support of their rights, entitlements to adult and children's services, special education, the development of customized estate plans and special needs trusts, guardianship, and public benefits.

Scott Friedman is an attorney in Buffalo Grove whose area of practice is helping people establish corporations.  He is fabulous and very easy to talk to. He may be helpful for families wanting to start a corporation for their adult child so that they can earn enough FICA quarters to become eligible for SSDI.
